the CPTPP was a renegotiated agreement between the remaining 11 countries of the TPP agreement after the US (under Donald Trump in 2017) withdrew. This agreement necessitated reduced/no tariffs between goods of the involved countries (Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam – 15% of the global economy)
