Some believe Reza Pahlavi would bring westernization and bring something aligned to US and Israel interests. This diaspora acting in support are largely those who escaped during Islamic revolution in the 70s. Like Cubans in Miami were pro US sanctions in Cuba since they escaped Castro's regime. Although their opinion may matter less than actual Cubans who suffer the consequences.
The US can appear to be the hero, but usually don't care about development, only own interests.

If war is prolonged, those countries that have the US naval bases may push for the US to back out

Formally entering the war is quite unlikely for either China or Russia, likely to continue selling arms to Iran or any militia groups protecting their interests
Right now is a regional war, if they did it would become WW3
Instead of having actual leader, they have military rule. Quite a likely possibility for Iran

Spain not allowing US access into its airspace, potentially for not supporting the war effort (didn't support the Israel Palestine conflict), yet also must consider that they don't want civilians to get harmed – the Middle Eastern countries (GCC countries – Gulf Cooperation Council) that have US military bases must pay a price, where if the US goes to war with a middle eastern country they can be put on the radar.

The US is being an irrational actor. Other superpowers like China can appear rational with economic and military might. China may be able to dictate multilateralism
